When the demo became available I immediately downloaded it. To my surprise it was quite enjoyable, but not something I would rank an 8 or above. Well I finally got around to renting it and boy was I wrong! This game is very good in all but one aspect. Let's get the bad out of the way first, the multiplayer. Unfortunately there are trophies for it, and because it is completely dead online, getting platinum for this is impossible. The few games I managed to do were okay I suppose. Felt no need for multiplayer in this game. Now the good parts, everything else! The graphics and animations are quite good with zero screen tear or graphical glitches. It does dip in framerate for some of the bosses, not too much though. The sound is superb with every footstep sounding real especially the robots. Playing this with surround sound was great. The music is okay, nothing wrong, but not too memorable. Length wise it will take between 8 to 10 hours to complete depending on skill level. Replay value imo is fairly high as once you beat the game on Survivor difficulty, No Mercy opens for you to go through again. The characters are very likable, and the story will keep you glued to the controller till the end. Without really ruining anything, I will say that I hope they do make the sequel for this. In conclusion I definitely recommend this game to any shooter fan.

i rented Binary Domain with low expectations. I thought it seemed like a low budget everyday shooter. I was very wrong. When I think of Binary Domain the first thing to come to mind is story. The story is a truly unique one and makes you care for the people who you are fighting beside. Im not a big fan of robot "killing" but this game has you shooting off limbs and making a grity sense of violence even if they are robots. I have been a gamer for a long time, and have played pretty much every shooter game for 360 and ps3(i know, im a nerd) but this one is unique, and i believe its worth your attention
