Old School gamer who likes to play single player/campain mode. Graphics & sound quality outstanding!Has some nice suprises, but seems to lack the story line I was looking for. Overall, A fun game and worth renting.
I have concluded that anticipating games is a mistake. I rented Bad Company 2 by mistake and loved it. I looked forward to MW2, Black Ops, and Crysis 2 and couldnt stand them for longer than a month. I hoped this would be my new time vacuum, but it's not looking good. Seeing as I'm not looking forward to MW3, I'd say it has a better chance of being good.
My title pretty much comes it up tho. The only thing better about this game is the knifing, it doesnt seem like BS any more, but that's not saying much considering there is soo much other BS and lag. A few friends and I are already talking about going back to BC2 while we wait for a patch to see if dice will fix this BS. The official website to track your stats is a frustrating, waste of time too. EA- you better add legs to this game becuz it might be forgotten in a month.
I think the game was overall good. However, I could not help but notice how worthless your squad is. I don't play online, only single player and this was sort of a let down. I still think the best squad mates were in the Rainbow Six Vegas game. They actually killed bad guys. In this one, they shoot, and shoot, and shoot and nothing. They may kill one bad guy every 10 minutes and the bad guy is hiding right around the corner.
I also found some bugs in the game, one with a respawn point that forced me to restart the mission from the beginning.
The story is also a bit tracked. They need to get out of this whole Middle East theme and do something new.
The positive points were the tight controls, graphics were good and the story itself was not bad, voice acting was good.
