Game Description

NOTE: This is a two disc game, but it only counts as one disc against your rental plan. This game requires an EA Online Pass code to access online content. The Online Pass code is included with purchase, but not with rental of this title.

Heroism on this battlefield is not about making an all-out adrenaline rush toward glory. It's about steel-eyed determination in combat designed to be chaotic, dizzying, and completely unnerving. Battlefield 3 is built on the Frostbite 2 game engine, which creates an incredibly lifelike world and pushes it to the quivering edge. Calm - and everything else for that matter - can be shattered at any moment. Keep your wits about you on realistic missions that demand precision in the face of chaos. Lead a squad of U.S. Marines through urban hotspots in Europe, North America, and the Middle East or go online and see if you can survive 24-soldier multiplayer.

As someone else said, half the game deserves half the rating. B3 and Dice develop stellar online shooters, an...more
