The game is pretty cool because im a bboy myself and its cool that they finally have a game that gives real bboys recognition. The game is kinda confusing at first. Its not that simple to pick up. The tutorials in the game don't really give that much info. Yeah, they tell you how to play the game but it doesn't really help you to keep a flow going on the game. Plus, the tutorials they don't really give you that much details. But overall its a cool game. The thing is this game isn't of those games that you can play for a long time. so yeah

PROS: Animations blend very well together. Can execute any move you desire (after you have unlocked transitions for each move. This was funny, cuz last night, my friend was watching me like, "okay, now do a head spin, now flares, okay back to headspin, now 1990s, back to flares"...etc and I was executing everything he was saying, you can't ask for better gameplay than that...giving the user complete control) An array meaning a huge load) of upgradeable moves. Graphics look descent for the PS2 (not great but I was happy with it) Good music. Create-a-player.(can't type your name though. Just says CUSTOM) So you see, the gameplay is there. They just need to build on it going forward. CONS: Everything else! Story Mode is extremely basic. I like the fact that The Lab (your crib) gets a face lift when progressing through the game. There's a lot of content, but like I said, it's just basic text, and pick and choose your battles. No Movies! Just one so far and it was in-game... not rendered.(See I don't mind movies in a game, when the gameplay is there...but when the game sucks and you have to watch all those horrible movies...yeah...you know where I'm coming from. With this game I was like, "Man, this would be SICK on the 360/PS3!!) There's other modes where you can play against the CPU, but for some weird reason, I couldn't pick my created character to play against the other breakers. And when you pick the other breakers, you have to figure out their moves, which can be frustrating!!
CLOSING: This game was made for wannabe breakers, old time breakers that still play videogames, even hardcore gamers, because even though anyone can execute the basics, it's to pull off those dynamic moves that take the timing and executing even further. And speaking of timing, that's the whole concept here! Listening to the music, getting down the timing, and knowing what moves your character can perform...and I tell you...you'll be one KICK BUTT breaker. OH...and it's only $20!!
