Um....I can't think right now. [I'm worried about this website!] I like the game but I think some stuff in it is hard but the story is s..still g..good. I like the fire spirit he's powerful! But the game gets a little boring when all you have to do is flip switches! Sometimes the game gets boring but other times it is cool.

Avalon Code is a good game for anyone looking for a puzzle oriented RPG. The puzzles aren't very hard, but they do progressively become more difficult. It isn't hard to figure out if you give it some time though.

Fighting is present in Avalon Code, and it isn't turn based! To me, that's an upside. The fighting in Avalon Code is very intuitive and easy to understand. You can choose which weapons you want to use most of the time, others it is required to use a particular weapon for a challenge or specific monster. Strategies are applicable to many of the boss fights, comparable to that of a Zelda game.

The graphics, for the DS, are actually nice in my opinion. Some things are a little too "polygon-y" but its easy to look over it. The character designs are interesting and not at all generic. The voice acting is very nice as well, and the dialogue is witty and organic, though there are a lot of corny puns when it comes to the romance section.
Another pro to Avalon Code is the dating portion! It's interesting to get to know the characters because they have layers. It isn't always as it seems when you first meet a character, and having various romantic cutscenes and events is fun (at least for someone like me!)

The music in the game fits the scenes, but its nothing spectacular. It is what it is -- background music. But some of the chipper piano tunes did get stuck in my head for awhile.
The major downside to Avalon Code is the play time. It's fun and a well thought out story that is really engaging. You can get really sucked into the storyline and the characters, but the play time is shorter than expected. I beat the game in less than 16 hours. Also, some characters cannot be explored as far as some others, leaving the game feeling somewhat... rushed.

Overall, Avalon Code was a good game to play for the RPG fan who has little time to kill! It has a memorable story and characters you'll love to love and love to hate. I might even give the game a replay!

Really Bad

Avalon SMASH!

I was very disappointed in how boring the game was. It didn't take me but a full 10 mins to see how low of storyline it had. It was almost child's play. The only part I even found amusing was the book. In order to gather information you'd smash the book over objects or people. That was sadly the only amusing part of the game. The battling lacked any challenge to it & it was like a lesser version of FFCC Echoes of Time. Waste of time, & for anyone interested in a good RPG, this is not your fortay.
