"Assassin's Creed: Revelations" is the fourth game in the series and the third featuring Ezio Auditore, from AC II and Brotherhood. This time the action moves from Italy to Constantinople, and we get to revisit the character of Altair from the original game in flashbacks. Both Ezio's and Altair's stories are wrapped up, and we're given some further insight to Desmond as well. Desmond is more optional this time around (his levels offer a nice break from the killing, being more puzzle based) as his consciousness is trapped within the Animus following the events of Brotherhood. A few new additions to the game offer a different way to move about the sprawling city of Constantinople, those being the hookblade and well placed ziplines. The hookblade works to take enemies out as well. The enemies also have the addition of firearms, which necessitate a different strategy in your approach to dealing with them. A version of the Borgia towers returns, but with a twist- attract too much attention, and your new den comes under attack, initiating an RTS minigame in which you need to defend your den or be forced to retake it later. The Den Defense mode works fairly well, but it does take some getting used to. The story is once again well written and the voice acting is among the best. Graphically, this game is beautiful, with nice details in the environments and lighting. Missions are varied and never dull, and there's plenty to see and explore. Animus Fragments are spread throughout the city, and finding these unlocks the Desmond missions. Also new is the addition of bombs and bomb crafting, adding yet another weapon into Ezio's arsenal. While not completely necessary, they can be fun to use and fool around with. All in all, this is an excellent addition to a great series, and a must buy for fans, and definitely at least a must play for fans of action adventure games. It's not perfect, with occasional bad camera angles and glitches, but it's still well worth your time. Enjoy!

Very Good

Great game but glitchy

Just like all the other assassin's creed games this is a great rent or buy. I give an 8/10 because it is glitchy and theres not much attention to detail, like citizen voices and phrases. There are a few stupid glitches like when killing guards and scaring all the citizens around you, if you scare a guy working in a vender, he cant escape his building and just runs and screams into a wall constantly. I also fell through the map on the second Desmond mission. The citizens only have like 4 voices and 6 phrases that they can say. Assassin recruits only have 3 different phrases when you talk to them after rescuing them. Im nitpicking a little but it seems a little rushed, if they fixed these problems with updates it would be a 10/10 game!
