I will say this. I was pretty scared in the beginning (and this is coming from someone who played Silent Hill 2 and Fatal Frame alone in a two story house, at night, on a large open acre property), It seemed, like with almost all lowly rated games I play, like it was getting good. This happens when you haven't felt the mechanics of the game out in full just yet, and usually with a bad game, you notice the flawed mechanics pretty quickly. I'm not gonna be the helpful guy and say WHY it's bad, because everyone has different preferences, and really our time is valuable, is it not? But I will say this... the experience felt hollow after an hour. There was bone, but no marrow. A bun, but no hotdog. A room, but no furniture. I think you get the jist of it.

When I first heard they were making an Aliens game I was super excited. With how many times this game was delayed I surely thought it was gonna be great, but boy was I wrong. I can't imagine how bad this game must have been originally for this to be the final product. The story is blah and the game play sets first person shooters back at least 10 years.
